The Domestic and Community Skills Assessment, Third Edition (DACSA-3) is an occupational therapy instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) assessment, which can be used to assess the domestic and community skills of a person with a mental health condition.
The project to update and establish content validity of the DACSA-3 was conducted from 2021-2025 as part of a Master's research project at La Trobe University. The DACSA-3 is currently free to use by occupational therapists and occupational therapy students and can be downloaded following completion of an online form, which will collect your name and email. Links to a Master's thesis and journal articles regarding the DACSA-3 will be made available soon, once published.
If you have any questions about the DACSA-3, then feel free to send an email to dasca3@gmail.com.
